창의적인 청소년을 위한 미술 수업, 레벨 2: 그림 그리기와 개념 개발!

I will be teaching intermediate level art, ideal for junior high aged art students. 

I always mute my classes but I encourage learners to unmute themselves and ask questions at any point. 

Learners who take this as an ongoing class will develop as artists over time and learn a variety of drawing skills such as cartooning, rendering, shading, lighting, using pen and ink, pointillism, contour drawing, and pencil drawing

I believe in teaching by example. This means that I paint/draw along with the learner, show them different techniques and explain the process as we embark on our creative journey. This class can accommodate all skill levels. I can teach art from scratch or help a learner develop a portfolio for college art applications. 

Here is a list of the topics we will be exploring over the course of the class, in order. Learners are welcome to choose their own subject matter. Every week, on the day of the class, I will write in the classroom to let learners know what supples will be needed and what we will be focusing on that day from the list below. April 12: art journaling prompts 
April 19: Draw an animal based on its Skeleton alone
April 26: Personify a feeling

May 3:  draw a human of the distant future
May 10: scribble start! drawing a monster or abstract exploration based on a scribble.
May 17: design and Draw a recipe 
May 21: create a super hero, or a super villain with special powers 

May 31: Shadow and Highlights Review (graphite pencil)
