This 4 week flexible schedule class has NO LIVE MEETINGS! This will allow your child to explore and experiment with natural or air dry clay on their own time and at their own pace! We will create 4 unique clay pieces using Crayola Air Dry Clay or natural clay, if you have means to fire your dry pieces. The lessons will include a variety of hand building techniques such as pinch pot, slab building, solid sculpting, and coiling. Week 1 - Pinch pot, Dinosaur Week 2 - Crazy Coil Pot Week 3...
Student in this course will be introduced to: making pinch pots attaching parts using a score/slip method rolling slabs and attaching securely to make 3d forms creating surface texture solid sculpting and carving rolling and attaching coils

This class really benefits students best when there is a lot of classroom participation. Please help your learner to: 1. Submit a photo of their work weekly, and also photos of other similar work by other artists or actual photos of real subject matter to use as reference material, by Friday if possible. 2. Via a video or written comments, provide an explanation of their work or process. 3. View other's pictures and write comments/kind reactions for learners to see. 4. Respond to other learner's comments and feedback about their own work. 5. On Wednesdays, check for and respond to weekly teacher questions/prompts and read and respond to other learners responses. 6. My Flex classes are very interactive, particularly because students are free to schedule solo or group meeting with me to chat with others or see a live demonstration if they require more assistance.제공되는 평가
