Calling all ACNH lovers! It's a Fourth of July party and you're invited! Come get some face paint, popcorn, cotton candy, cute stuffed animals, and watch fireworks! In this one-time ACNH class, learners will come visit my five-star island for a very exciting Fourth of July party with learners from around the world in Animal Crossing New Horizons on the Nintendo Switch! While learners are on my island, it will be night time and there will be fireworks! At the beginning of class, learners will fly over to my island by using a dodo code. Each learner will be given rare items in Animal Crossing as a special in game gift from me. While learners are visiting my island, they will be invited to visit my shops, talk to my villagers, play games, and have fun exploring. There will also be some fun Fourth of July custom designs (outfits on the back wall) for learners to grab from my Able Sister's shop. Including face paint! ***Redd's Raffle will be happening during this class on my island during our Fireworks show! All learners are welcome to participate.*** ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ITEMS ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Learners in this class will receive the in game items that are listed below from me: *Please come prepared with plenty of empty bag space. Each learner will need 2 rows of empty spaces in their bags.* - Soft-serve lamp (rainbow) - Cotton candy stall (pink) - Cotton candy stall (blue) - Popcorn Machine (pink) - Popcorn Machine (blue) - Dreamy Rabbit toy (purple) - Dreamy unicorn toy (red) - Disco ball (black) - Club wall - Club flooring As an added bonus, there will be party themed items like party poppers and sparklers from Teacher Sheila that learners will be able to use while they are on her island! ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ REQUIREMENTS ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ - Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch Lite - Nintendo Online Membership - Animal Crossing New Horizons - Stable Internet Connection ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ HOW TO FLY ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Just head to your airport and talk to Orville. You will need to use the prompts below to navigate to the screen you need to enter my Dodo code into. Here are the chat options you will need to click listed in order below: - I wanna fly! - I wanna visit someone. - Via online play. - Roger! - Search via Dodo Code. Enter a Dodo code: Use this screen to enter my Dodo code. This is the Dodo code I will send you at the beginning of class. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ NOTE ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ You will need to make sure your child has an airport on their island that is open and ready to use flight. I will send each learner the Dodo code they need to fly to my island at the beginning of class. Please make sure your child is ready to fly with online play and to use a Dodo code for this class. *Please also make sure that your learner has a Nintendo account with Online play. This is a requirement through Nintendo. Learners without Online play will not be able to visit my island or receive any ACNH items from me in this class.*

NINTENDO ONLINE
All learners will need to have a Nintendo Account that has access to online play through a Nintendo Online subscription plan in order to participate in this class. If your learner does not have a Nintendo Account or Nintendo Online, please set this up for your learner before they join this class. In order to create a Nintendo Account, you will need to create a Nintendo profile on your Nintendo Switch. After you have created your Nintendo Account, you will be able to link your Nintendo Account to Nintendo Online. Nintendo Online requires an individual or family subscription that is paid annually. For more assistance and guidance on how to set up your Nintendo Account with Nintendo Online, please visit the "Nintendo Online" link that is listed under the External Resources Section.
ANIMAL CROSSING FOR THE NINTENDO SWITCH
Each learner will be required to have the video game Animal Crossing New Horizons for the Nintendo Switch, which can be purchased through the Nintendo eShop on your Nintendo Switch, as well as Nintendo Online in order to fully participate in this class.

Hey there! I'm Sheila, and I'm super excited to be here with you on this awesome learning adventure!
I've been teaching professionally since 2012. I spent 8 years teaching in public schools, working with students from Kindergarten to 8th grade. Then, in 2018, I transitioned to online teaching, connecting with hundreds of learners just like you from all over the globe. On Outschool alone, I have taught almost 500 learners!
Along with teaching, I'm also very passionate about exploring my creative side. I absolutely love working with digital art, designing my own mugs to sell on Etsy, and freelancing as a graphic designer. Currently, I am experienced with using Procreate, Procreate Dreams, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Gimp, Davinci Resolve, PowerPoint, and Canva.
When I'm not teaching or creating, you can find me snuggled up with my cat, Zuko, sipping on my favorite Starbucks latte, or dreaming up new Procreate tutorials. I can't wait to inspire your creativity and share everything I know with you in our classes together! ✨

First let me tell you how fun and engaging this teacher is! She’s somehow tied learning activities in with Animal crossing and the kids don’t even realize that they are learning while having fun! My child absolutely loved this class and this amazing teacher, looking forward to the class every single day! I can’t recommend this class and this teacher enough!
