Amiguitos Social Club/ 스페인어 몰입 교육(이중언어 어린이)/ 원어민 교사

Amiguitos Social Club is the place to make bilingual friends! Each week we will have a topic to talk about (see Weekly themes below). In my class I will facilitate communication among students when necessary. I will start by introducing the topic and students will interact between them and respond to my questions in Spanish. I will show and read parts of a book on the topic and have educational props available when deemed necessary.  It is possible I use a Boom cards vocabulary game to break the ice or spark conversation between students. 

Week 1 Animales de la granja (Farm animals) 

The teacher will read a book about farm animals and will also bring animal figurines to show. Students will be encouraged to talk about their favorite farm animal. 

Week 2 Nuestras mascotas (Our pets) 

The teacher will read a book on pets and will also bring pet figurines to show. Students will be encouraged talk about their favorite pets or their pets.

Week 3 Animales del océano (Ocean Animals)

The teacher will read a book about ocean animals and will also bring animal figurines to show. Students will be encouraged to talk about their favorite ocean animal. 

Week 4 El mundo de los insectos (World of Bugs) 

The teacher will read a book about on insects/bugs and will also bring insect figurines to show. Students will be encouraged to talk about their favorite bug/insect.

Week 5 Juguetes favoritos/ Coleccionables (Toys/ Collectibles)

The teacher will read a story about a teddy bear. She will also present some collectibles she has. Students will be encouraged to talk about their favorite toys/ collectibles. 

Week 6 Animales en el invierno (Animals in Winter) 

The teacher will read a book about animals in winter and will also bring animal figurines to show. Students will be encouraged to talk about what animals do during the winter.
