### Advanced ASL: Mastering Complex Concepts and Vocabulary **Class Description:** This advanced ASL class is designed for learners who have a solid foundation in the basics of American Sign Language, including greetings, fingerspelling, food, animals, and more. It is highly recommended that participants have completed ASL Beginners, Intermediate, and the first two advanced classes prior to enrolling. The class is taught with an 80% voice-off approach, focusing on both expressive and receptive skills. A strong understanding of both ASL and English is essential. In this class, we will delve into the distinctions between Signed English and American Sign Language. With over 15 years of experience as an ASL educator, including 10 years working directly within the Deaf community, I bring a wealth of expertise to this class. In addition to teaching ASL at various preschools and private kindergartens in my local area, I also lead a music and movement program. I have firsthand experience using signs to communicate with my daughter, who is hard of hearing and also an Outschool teacher.
