This class is packed with 9 fun, exciting, and educational lessons, where kids will explore towering mountains, roaring waterfalls, deep canyons, and impactful American landscapes all from the comfort of home! 🚨🚨This is a Self paced schedule class, meaning there will be no live meetings. 🚨🚨 Each pre-recorded lesson brings a famous natural wonder to life with engaging stories, fascinating facts, and fun visuals that make learning geography exciting! Kids will dive into the mysteries of the Great Lakes, feel the power of Niagara Falls, and stand in awe at the depths of the Grand Canyon. They'll discover the bubbling geysers of Yellowstone and the misty peaks of the Great Smoky Mountains! But that’s not all! We’ll also trace the mighty Mississippi River, uncover the secrets of the Rocky Mountains, and learn about the swampy waters of the Florida Everglades. And of course, no journey is complete without meeting the towering Redwood Forest. Each lesson video is between 15-22 minutes and is filled with fun visuals, and real-life footage to bring the lessons to life. I have a Bachelor‘s degree from Geneva College and minored in cross culture studies. During my 4 years in college I studied history and various ancient cultures. I have over 17 years experience teaching children and teens engaging lesson in both public schools, online courses and private seminars. In all of these experiences, teaching history and culture was a very large part of my job description. I previously held credentials through the State of Ohio and the state of Minnesota’s Departments of Education (both now expired). I taught in public schools for 2 school years where history and other social studies was part of my duties as an educator. I have over 6 years of experience teaching history to children on online platforms and have taught thousands of kids to live history. I pride myself on never letting kids get bored yet always be learning. I have a passion for helping children succeed.
