Hello and welcome!
This one time class is designed for those who find the thought of dissecting a preserved specimen...yucky, to say the least. We will avoid all of the unpleasant messes and smells of learning frog anatomy by putting together paper frog models. Each organ system will be colored and identified by the students as I demonstrate the parts of the frog using my completed paper model. Students will then complete their own models by completing the "reverse dissection".This paper model is designed to fit into a lab binder. It may also be blown up so that the students may make a poster if they choose.
No gloves, masks, or goggles will be required. This course is designed to teach students all of the parts of frog anatomy without the stress and mess of using live specimens. Questions will be encouraged throughout the lab.
