This class is for learners with little to no letter knowledge. The learner will learn the names, sounds and formation of the English alphabet. The class will include videos, writing and games. Two letters of the alphabet will covered each week. Monday and Wednesday: I will create video hosted on YouTube to introduce the letter, sound and writing uppercase and lowercase letters. I have a minor in Early Childhood and have taught preschool and kindergarten.
All supplies will be in the Outschool Classroom. There will be pdfs uploaded that will need to be printed out. For the writing portion the learners will need the printed pdf file and a pencil, colored pencil, marker, crayon, or something to write with. If the learners would like to record a video for the interaction please have a webcam or camera for the video to upload it into the comment section.

YouTube is the only external links that will be provided. I will provide the link to my teaching videos hosted in YouTube in the Outschool classroom. All activities will be in printable PDF format worksheets. The learners can then scan or take a picture to upload their finished assignments. The learners will use the recorded feature in the Outschool classroom or record on their own device to upload any videos. Videos are not required for this class since the learners can comment instead of recording a video for the interaction.
