In this one time class, students will actively listen to a fiction robot story called Robot Crash by Joy Cowley and illustrated by Lorenzo Van Der Lingen. The students will discuss the characters and setting of the story as well as the problem in the story. The students will make text to self connections to further reading comprehension. Students will use creative skills to draw and color a robot. Students will use social skills to share their finished project, if they feel comfortable doing so.
Students will need white paper and crayons or colored pencils.
