Students will explore Algebra 1 topics by working with various word problems. Students need to have completed Algebra 1 or be enrolled in an Algebra 1 course before enrolling in this course. 
This is not a complete curriculum but is for students who need to brush up and review their algebra skills. Students will be allowed to use calculators and there will be practice using graphing technology. A free website will be utilized, but students are welcome to use their own graphing calculator. 

Please note this is a collaborative, discussion-based class, which means students will be required to have their cameras and microphones on for the best class experience.

Pre-Requisites
Students should have completed a pre algebra or Algebra 1 Course before taking this class. Students should be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide fluently with fractions and integers.

Students will need to have a calculator and graphing paper.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
