Students will be given a weekly reading assignment. The weekly assignment may consist of comprehension questions, vocabulary, and "who said it" exercises. All assignments will be uploaded in the discussion area for students to view prior to the start of each class. Students will be asked to come up with either one additional question or thought to share to the discussion board. One peer question from the discussion board will lead our weekly conversations. Upload one thought or question onto the discussion board and respond to one peer. Week 3: Read Chapters 15-22 Complete comprehension and work on novel project. Upload one thought or question onto the discussion board and respond to one peer. Week 4: Peer Book Party We will share our novel projects. Projects can be a comic strip made about the novel, a book report, an animation, a piece of art that reflects a scene, a re-enactment, or even a poster board.
