수업 소개
In this 3-day camp, students will have fun making Africa-themed arts and crafts using simple art supplies. Each day, our craft will take us to a different country in Africa. Students will learn about the origin of what we will be creating and be able to locate it geographically. We’ll also learn some facts about the country and dive into creating our craft for the day. Below is a breakdown of what students will make in each class. Day 1: Ndebele art/hut (South Africa) Day 2: Tribal mask (Mali) Day 3: Maasai Collar Necklace (Kenya) Students will be given opportunities to ask questions and share their artwork with the rest of the class if they choose to do so. Please review the supply list before enrolling your learner. No prior knowledge or experience is needed to participate in this class. See you in class!
학습 목표
In addition to creating their craft from different parts of Africa, students will also be able to identify the locations of these countries on a map.
