Course Description:
This 8 week Self-Paced and Subscription course does not have any live meetings. This course is aligned to national standards for 4th-8th grades. In this course, students will focus on suffixes and Latin roots. Students will learn how to break words into parts, hypothesize the meanings of unknown parts, and check meaning in context. By doing this, students will improve reading fluency and word comprehension.

Course Format:
Throughout the units students will find video lessons, study guide opportunities, practice activities, and assessments to check for understanding. Students will need a Google account to work on and save the study guides, activities, and assessments.
