수업 소개
This class is for learners who are curious about acting for film or want to improve their on-camera performance skills. Unlike stage acting, film acting is all about subtle expressions, natural delivery, and learning how to work with the camera. Whether learners are totally new or already have some experience, they’ll feel supported, challenged, and inspired. We’ll cover: ⇢How to perform naturally and authentically on camera ⇢The difference between stage and film acting ⇢Camera angles, eye lines, and blocking for film ⇢How to connect with a scene partner on-screen ⇢How to bring real emotion into your performance Each class includes: ⇢Warm-up activities and short games ⇢Acting exercises or scene work (solo or with partners) ⇢On-camera tips and tricks ⇢Positive, encouraging feedback from the teacher and peers ⇢Optional short performances shared with the group No fancy equipment needed—just a device with a camera (like a phone or laptop) and space to move a little. Learners will get a chance to see themselves on screen and improve each week. I offer classes like Dr. Seuss Reading Time, Getting Ready for Elementary, Middle School, and High School, Saturday Theatre Playhouse, Learning Monologues for Speaking Success, and Ideas-Action-Film. I truly value your talents and dreams, and I’m committed to helping you succeed.
In addition, I’m a certified substitute teacher, and through my experience, I’ve witnessed how a lack of reading and spelling skills can negatively affect a child’s self-esteem. When children don’t know how to read or spell, they often disengage and may act out, masking their frustration as rebellion. In my classes, I create a safe and supportive environment where students can learn, re-learn, and gain confidence so they can feel successful in and out of the classroom.
