Have you been curious about learning American Sign Language? This is a beginner course designed to take you through the basics of the language. Each week, of the sixteen weeks you can watch videos three times a week, that's 48 total video classes. Videos are short to keep attention ranging from five to fifteen minutes. Can you sign your name in ASL?Lesson 2Friends and FamilyLet’s practice the signs for members of the family and how to use them in our signing.Lesson 3EmotionsLet’s sign how we feel and how to make our facial expressions match.Week 2Lesson 4TransportationLet’s learn the signs for many common forms of transportation and how we can use them to tell stories.Lesson 5Learning Our ColorsLearning our colors along with a song to help our speed and recall.Lesson 6Park VisitLet’s take an imaginary trip to the park and sign everything we see.Week 3Lesson 7Numbers and CountingStarting our week with learning our numbers in ASL can we count higher than a million!? Let’s learn to use our numbers with time, money, and telling peoples ages.Lesson 8Food and CookingLet’s sign all about food. Included breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert. Let’s try signing a recipe together too!Lesson 9Seasons and WeatherLet’s sign all four seasons and the weather for each.Week 4Lesson 10All About AnimalsA class favorite is all the animal signs! Let’s learn and practice two well known stories.Lesson 15Deaf and BlindWe can’t learn a new language without learning about those who use it. Let’s talk about deaf culture and how things are different in day to day life if you are deaf. And how does sign language work if you are deaf and blind?Week 6Lesson 16Superhero SignsDid you know there are signs for many of your favorite super hero’s?
