This class is focused on learning vocabulary about meals (ex. breakfast, lunch, appetizer, dinner), and exploring French regions through their culinary specialties. I will be using a slide presentation to show word spelling and pictures depicting aspects of regional cultures in France (ex. landscapes, people), and their gastronomy, as well as a map throughout to show location. We will start with typical breakfast options, and follow with lunch, snacks, appetizers, and dinner. For each meal...
Students will learn vocabulary related to daily meals and the names of regions within France, along with names of dishes/foods.
I am a native French speaker and have done a lot of tutoring and teaching French to kids. My strategy is to engage the student and make it as pleasant and fun as possible, so that learning comes naturally.
