Empowering Kids Through Music: My ‘Why’
Hi, I’m Rob Egan, a passionate musician, educator, and drum enthusiast with a Bachelor of Music from Berklee College of Music. Over the past 30 years, I’ve had the honor of performing across the U.S., Canada, and Europe with incredible artists like Henry Mancini, Bob Mintzer, and the U.S. Army Ground Forces Band. But what truly lights me up is teaching.
With over 4,000 hours of online instruction, I’ve created a dynamic, interactive learning environment where kids feel excited to learn. My virtual setup includes three drum sets, six camera angles, and crystal-clear audio to give students an immersive experience, no matter where they’re tuning in from.
Why do I teach? Because I’ve seen how music transforms kids’ lives. It’s not just about learning rhythms or playing beats; it’s about growing confidence, sparking creativity, and fostering a love for learning that extends far beyond the drums.
Every child is unique, which is why I tailor my lessons to meet their specific needs—whether they’re neurodiverse, autistic, homeschooled, or simply eager to explore music. My goal is to make drumming accessible, fun, and a source of pride for every student.리뷰
