Hello👋and thank you for your interest in this 6th grade math review class!

Does your learner need to refine their math skills from last school year? 

Or do you want your learner to keep the learning going this summer so that they feel fresh and confident for the new school year?

In this ongoing, weekly class, we will be reviewing 6th grade math skills through fun interactive activities and games with a fun "animal" theme.  

Your learner will look forward to class each week!

In my experience, making learning fun through games is one of the best ways to increase engagement while practicing and refining math skills.  

*EACH CLASS IS INDEPENDENT OF EACH OTHER AND STUDENTS ARE WELCOME TO JOIN THIS ONGOING CLASS AT ANY TIME. 👍

Class Outline:
1. Introductions, getting to know each other, class rules 
2. Skill review through an interactive lesson
3. Review Game (Kahoot or Gimkit)

The following topics will be covered:
Week of 6/17:  Ratios, Unit Rates,  Percents
Week of 6/24: Multiplying and Dividing Fractions
Week of 7/1: Operations with Decimals
Week of 7/8 : Integers and Rational Numbers
Week of 7/15: Expressions
Week of 7/22: Equations
Week of 7/29: Inequalities
Week of 8/5: Area, Surface Area, Volume
Week of 8/12: Statistics
