Students will learn 6th grade math in this 16 week course. This is a full course and this course is great for those who have completed the 5th grade level of math.

This class will have live meetings. I will also provide guided notes and assign weekly homework on Khan Academy. Students are expected to attend classes weekly (or watch class recordings if they miss a class) and finish their homework. 

Being that this is a 16 week course, this course is fast pace and to get the most of the course, practice is essential with the assigned homework before the next meeting. I advise parents to be sure learners are doing their part outside of class. Unit test may be issued on Khan Academy and a final course review will be issued at the end of the course to test the learners on their retainment of information and if they are ready for the 7th grade level.

This course uses both Khan Academy & outside worksheets. Please message with any questions you may have on this course. Please note, Khan Academy is a free online learning website. 

Before taking this class students should of course have a understanding of elementary math such a multiplying, fractions, decimals, division, addition, and subtraction.
