This is a small group 5th Grade Math class. There will only be 10 students in each class. 

This class is a good fit for students that have finished the 4th grade and want to get a head start on 5th grade. This class is also a good fit for students that have completed 5th grade and need to review Geometry skills learned during the school year.

Lessons will be taught using the Zoom whiteboard. I will be using the I do, we do, you do strategy for the lessons. The students will be given individual time to complete problems on the whiteboard to show understanding. At the end of class, the students will participate in a review using Kahoot games. This is a fun way for the students to show what they have learned.

 In this lesson student will learn what a polygon is and the different types of Polygons. The students will also learn the attributes of each type of polygon.

 In this lesson the students will learn about Triangles which is a type of polygons. The students will learn how to classify triangles by its sides and its angles.

 In this lesson the students will learn about Quadrilaterals which is a type of Polygon. The students will also learn about the different types of quadrilaterals.
