In this class, students will learn how to Interpret and compute quotients and products of fractions, and solve word problems involving the division of fractions by fractions; Fluently divide multi-digit numbers using the standard algorithm; Fluently add, subtract, multiply, and divide multi-digit decimals using the standard algorithm for each operation; Understand that positive and negative numbers are used together to describe quantities having opposite directions or values; Understand a rational number as a point on the number line. Extend number line diagrams and coordinate axes familiar from previous grades to represent points on the line and in the plane with negative number coordinates; Understand the ordering and absolute value of a rational number, and Solve real-world and mathematical problems by graphing points in all four quadrants of the coordinate plane. Students will improve their understanding of fractional word problems, and how to find the product, sum, quotient, and difference of multi-digit decimal numbers. Understand how to apply the concepts in the Number Systems to real world scenarios.

Please give consent to students to use Edpuzzle, Google Forms, Peardeck, Flipgrid, Kahoot, and Gimkit. This will be used to reinforce learning. Kahoot/Gimkit is a game that the students will play at the end of each lesson. The games will be about the lesson for the day.
Kahoot/Gimkit does not require a download on the students' devices.
The content here is kid friendly and safe for the students to be on.
Students are not required to create a Kahoot/Gimkit account. They will be given a link and/or a code to join. Such links and/or codes are given only to the students who are present in the session. I will also be sharing my screen when reviewing or teaching mathematical concepts to the students.
