This class is part of a series of classes meant to provide opportunities for students to review and practice math concepts taught in fifth and sixth grade math. The focus of this class is decimals. Below is a list of concepts that we will be covering during this class. •Day One: Place Value in Decimals •Day Two: Rounding Decimals, Comparing Decimals, and Sequencing Decimals •Day Three: Converting Between Decimals and Fractions •Day Four: Adding and Subtracting Decimals •Day Five: Multiplying Decimals •Day Six: Dividing Decimals by Whole Numbers •Day Seven: Dividing Decimals by Decimals •Day Eight: Operations (add, subtract, multiply and divide) with Decimals Please note that this is a multi-day class with a set schedule. Please review the entire schedule before enrolling, as missed classes will not be rescheduled or refunded. Thank you!

Hello! I have been teaching and working in the public school setting for the past nineteen years, and tutoring privately for the past ten years. I have worked with students ranging from kindergarten to eighth grade in math, reading, writing mechanics, American History, and beginning Spanish. I especially enjoy working with students in small groups or individually, and developed skills as an online educator when schools had to close for the pandemic.
