In this summer language enrichment program, your child will have the opportunity to engage, interact and explore a variety of stories, increase their vocabulary development skills, enhance their language skills by having rich discussions about the text, and work on their writing skills. They will also have the opportunity of creating and build (arts and crafts activities) and attend a virtual field trip at the end of the program. I am an experienced bilingual speech and language therapist who has been in the field for 18 years providing services in both the English and Spanish languages to students of all ages.
Any handouts will be uploaded for that particular week and activity a few days before class begins.
Depending on the week and the activities parents may need to help their child cut activities out before class begins.
For week 5 virtual field, we will be using a site called artsandculture.google.com to go on our virtual tour through the American Museum of Natural History. *** Please note I have personal access to the websites that I will be using for this lesson. There is no extra cost to the parent to go on this virtual field trip with me.
