This interactive and dynamic class focuses on fundamental 4th grade math topics, including addition/subtraction of 3-digit numbers, multiplication/division facts involving numbers up to 12, and addition/subtraction using fractions. Students looking to enroll in this course should be comfortable with one- and two-digit addition/subtraction and skip counting.

This class is structure around student participation! I demonstrate how to solve problems, of course, but veer far away from a traditional lecture format in which I do most of the talking. Students in this course will regularly talk me through their thought process while working on a certain problem. This student participation will often involve writing on a digital whiteboard to demonstrate steps taken in solving a problem. Learners will interact with me every step of the way during our classes through discussion on relevant topics and math-based games.
