In this fun Bilingual Circle Time, we will meet two times a week. We will learn letters, numbers and math, colors, shapes and essential sight words. We will also learn common Chinese vocabularies like the names of our body, fruits, vegetables, animals and much more! We will have fun time together in each class. The Class is taught in English and Chinese, but your child does not need to have any prior knowledge for Chinese. We will sing, read and write together in each class. Our weekly routine will be: Two times a week, we will follow the same class format: We will learn a letter, a number, and a color each day. We will read, and write (tracing and practicing using my weekly worksheet: optional), four or fix sigh words of the day, and four or six Chinese vocabularies according to the weekly theme. We will be counting, simple adding and subtracting in each class. We will also learn and play educational games each week. Learners will have fun and enjoy our circle time. (The orders of the weekly themes are only estimated, and they may change according to students' needs.) Parents: Please message me of what "specific topic" you are looking for your children. I am very flexible, so I will try my best to accommodate your need. (Due to different session starts at different time, the schedule below is only estimated.) Hello Outschool learners, learning does not have to be hard, and you don’t have to learn one thing at a time. In my class, you can learn two things all together in an easy and efficient way, Chinese (Mandarin) and math altogether. We can kill two birds with one stone! I am bilingual in English and Chinese.
I have lived and studied in China for more than 18 years. After that I moved to US, and I graduated from University of Washington in 2006 with a Bachelor degree in Business Administration. Even though my major was in Accounting and Finance, I loved to teach whenever I had my spare time. When I was at college, I was a math tutor, and I also worked as a lab assistant in the UW language learning center for helping foreign students to learn English and Chinese.
I have been teaching on Outschool for over two years. I really enjoy teaching in this platform. I have tutoring experience with young learners, and I can also teach teenagers and pre-college students for math. After I graduated, I worked as a financial accountant in a non-for-profit organization for 5 years, and another three years with a private company. I am really good at math and Chinese.
