Hello Learners! In this course we will learn or review 1st grade Math skills. This course falls in line with IXL California First Grade Math Standards. ================================================================= In this two day class, we will go over Addition and Subtraction. On the first day we will cover Addition skills such as: * single digit * easy double digit * word problems On the second day we will cover Subtraction skills such as: * single digit * easy double digit * word problems ================================================================= --->Students and parents will receive their math packet the weekend before class starts. --->Families can print these pages for the first day of class. (It is not required to print the pages.) ================================================================= As a class we will go over each question step by step. I use a variety of multimedia to help students with understanding. Multimedia used are: ** white board for Tic-Tac-Math at the end of our lesson ** Google Slides ** worksheets ================================================================= During certain problems students will be able to interact with me and with other students during the class. ================================================================= The only previous experience needed is number recognition. ================================================================= IXL California First Grade Math Standards: 1.1.OA.1 Addition word problems - sums up to 10 (1-D.6) Addition sentences for word problems - sums up to 10 (1-D.7) Subtraction word problems - up to 10 (1-H.7) Subtraction sentences for word problems - up to 10 (1-H.8)

Hello there! My name is Cindy Bono. I have a few class listings that range from how to write a resume for teens, a book club, and Circle Time for Preschoolers.
I have been in the education game for 20+ years now. I was a tutor, PE teacher, after school teacher, preschool teacher, assistant Preschool Director, and I am now a School Nurse. I have taught preschool, elementary, middle school, and high school. I have a Bachelor's degree in Child Development and I a Master's in Child & Adolescent Development.
Learning should be fun. Everyone, no matter the age, learns in multiple ways and at their own pace. I believe that working in small groups helps children and teens understand content better and helps them to have a voice.
A fun fact about me is that I attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas, and I lived in Las Vegas from 18 years old until 27 years. In 1998, I was one of a handful of women that helped UNLV get sanctioned by the NCAA to have their 1st ever women's soccer team. Also, to help me pay off my tuition, I was a Black Jack Dealer at the Venetian and MGM.리뷰
