Wonders is designed to inspire a lifelong passion for reading in all children. Through immersive exploration of texts and daily practice in reading, writing, speaking, and active listening, students discover the transformative power of literacy.

Our lessons will engage students with a variety of exciting texts and themes, such as: 
 
1. Imagination and Adventure: Stories that spark creativity and curiosity, like tales of exploration and discovery.  

2. Empathy and Understanding: Books that build compassion and connection through diverse characters and real-life scenarios.  

3. Problem-Solving and Resilience: Narratives that encourage critical thinking, such as science-based challenges or historical triumphs.

My Teaching Style and Method

My approach is student-centered and flexible, starting with a level placement lesson to match your child to the right Wonders series level (K-6), or using the first lesson for this if needed. 

I use interactive activities to develop reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills, blending literacy expertise with social-emotional learning to build confidence and independence, while remaining adaptable to your family’s scheduling needs.
