This is a class for science tutoring with a focus on the properties of matter, plant life, animals, habitats, weather, and the solar system.  I can also provide tutoring in science based on specific parental requests.  If there is another aspect of science that you are looking for, please message me to be sure I can include what you are looking for.  I can also provide tutoring for students with science assignments they need help with.   Please let me know ahead of time what your student needs assistance with so I can be prepared with any materials that might help them.  Please note:  I can offer homework, quizzes, and grades upon parent request only.  If interested, please let me know at least 24 hours before the student starts class.  My teaching style involves allowing the student to share and talk as much as possible.  I encourage students to ask questions.  I also plan on using getepic.com for books to read during class.  Students do not need their own account as I will be screen-sharing. Finally, I like to include fun educational games with my lessons, when possible.   

Please be sure your student is capable of paying attention and participating for 25 minutes before signing up your student for the class.  Your student should also know letter sounds/phonics as this course is intended to help with science which will involve some reading.  They should be able to read basic sentences like, “I see a dog.”  For attendance and rescheduling, please be advised that I adhere to the Outschool policy and procedures.  I am unable to accommodate rescheduling for those who need to reschedule within two days of their class time. If you do not see a day or time that works for your child, please message me and I will see if I can open a slot that works for you.
