Please send Ms. Kailyn a message about specific learner needs after requesting a time. Ms. Kailyn is an experienced teacher who has taught in a variety of settings including Special Education. Together we will establish a few goals for the tutoring sessions so that your student is getting exactly what they need. We could include the following or more depending on your learners needs: Number sense Addition and subtraction Multiplication and division Shapes Money Phonics Handwriting Science / STEM Grammar Language arts Social studies Social skills / manners Each tutoring session will be hands-on and use a variety of techniques including sensory learning, exploration, art and drawing, and more. Since this is a 1:1 session, topics and teaching techniques can be adjusted to meet the needs and learning styles of the individual student. 1:1 tutoring is great for practice and review for struggling students but also a way to get prepared for going back to school. Learning 1:1 is a big confidence boost for shy or unsure students.

Hello,
I'm Ms. Kailyn and I am excited to be offering unique learning opportunities for your children. I have a wide variety of teaching experience from preschool through High School Special Education. My classes focus on making learning fun and discovering nature through observation, and exploration. As a former Montessori toddler teacher, with a degree in Environmental Education, I am uniquely qualified to offer classes that both encourage children to be engaged, life-long learners as well as, patient and respectful stewards of the Earth.
When I'm not teaching, I'm often found hiking and playing with my two children and our dog. They are a big help when it comes to trying out new activities and experiments with me!리뷰
