During this ongoing one-on-one class, learners will receive individual attention from a wonderful Friendship Haven teacher. Learners will always meet with the same teacher unless a transfer is requested. Friendship Haven will create or adapt current lessons based on parent input. Please send a message prior to our first class outlining your expectations. 


Classes follow this general outline:

*Introduction
*Show & tell or icebreaker activity 
*Instruction based on topics discussed with parents prior to class
*Intentional, positive feedback about class to motivate learners 
*Wrap-up/Goodbye 

Our goal is for your child to have fun learning in our classroom so they're more likely to retain information from each lesson! 

Custom Class Ideas:

* Reading & comprehension
* Spelling
* Interview preparation & resume writing 
* General preschool circle-time topics like counting, shapes, letters, letter sounds, calendar, seasons, etc.
* ESL conversation, games, book reports 
* Playschool: Playing games that focus on social-emotional learning while discussing general circle time topics.
