All About Spelling 프로그램을 이용한 1:1 스펠링 세션(45분)

This class is designed for students who are using the All About Spelling Program or those who are getting started. 

This class is individualized to the spelling needs of your child. If your child has just started the program or needs extra practice, this class will give your child 45 minutes of individual and specific help in the area of need.

If you are new to the program, we use the All About Spelling Program which is a phenomenal program to help students learn to spell or improve their spelling skills. This method uses the Orton-Gillingham approach, which is multi-sensory. I have seen tremendous progress with my reading and spelling students using this program. It is especially helpful for students who may struggle with dyslexia or reading difficulties as well.

It is recommended that students start in level 1, which will help to teach or review foundational skills that will be essential for spelling success. Students will need their own copy of the program materials (student packet and tiles) from All About Spelling from All About Learning Press.

Letter sounds and phonograms
Blends
Segmenting words
Vowel-Consonant-E words
Plural words
Open, Closed, and R Controlled syllable types
Suffixes

Teaching Style:
Your student will find my teaching style fun and enjoyable, with each session designed around their learning style. Sessions are structured, incorporating engaging activities and games that make learning feel like play within a clear and organized framework. I use explicit instruction to clearly explain concepts and rules, ensuring student success. Learning is incremental, with each lesson building on the previous one, allowing students to progress confidently and master each skill thoroughly.

Before class, please let me know what areas your child would like help with as well as what level your child has completed in the program. This will help me to prepare materials before class.

At the end of each session, I will post to the classroom page a summary of what we discussed, and what the student can work on throughout the week. Each week, we will review the areas that needed more practice from the prior week, and continue on with the next steps in the program.
