What You'll Learn:

Learn to design in Procreate, the go-to digital tool for modern fashion designers, while still honing your traditional sketching skills.
Receive tailored lessons based on your unique needs, including beginner to intermediate techniques, with advanced lessons available through teacher recommendation.

Course Features:

Students will receive fashion figures in various poses or can use their own movement pose references.
Prior to class, students will compile a list of skills or techniques they want to focus on.

This course is suitable for students who have some basic knowledge of fashion figures, but beginners can also learn the Croquis creation process.

Work traditionally with pencil and paper or digitally on a tablet.
Benefit from one-on-one guidance as we address your individual goals.
Whether you're looking to refine your skills or learn the latest digital techniques, this course will set you on the path to success in fashion design.

Traditional Art:
Please have a Fashion Croquis of choice (a few movement poses are great) printed and ready to use. I will supply if needed.
pencil
eraser
fine tip black marker (like Copic, Micron, etc.)
wide nib markers (color variety of your choice)...Alcohol based markers are used in the industry (Prismacolor, Copic, Ohuhu, etc)
colored pencils (we use these to coordinate with markers for shading)

OPTIONS:
In order to sketch over your base Croquis, Marker paper is best.
I use Bienfang Graphics 360 Translucent marker paper (you can use any translucent marker paper with alcohol markers)
White gel ink pen is great for tiny highlights 

Digital Art:
Program/App of choice (I will use Procreate on an iPad)
Stylus, fully charged!
Croquis saved as a photo or imported into a layer.
*If working digitally, some knowledge of using layers will be helpful, as there is no time set for the program basics*
