Children do very well learning a language while playing.  In this class students are encouraged to bring their toys, coloring pages, action figures, Lego® building bricks or blocks to share with the class.  Students can play in class and share their work.  I, as a teacher, will encourage good sentence structure when they share.  Students can practice with me and learn from each other as well.  

I  have taught ESL for 10 years overseas and and additional eight years online.  I am TESOL and TOEFL certified.  I enjoy helping my students become comfortable using their language skills.  In this class our goal will be for each student to take a next step in their conversational abilities. During this class we will focus on conversational English for our ESL learners.  

Classes will be learner led and allow for each child to play with their toys, talk with the teacher  and learn good sentence structure while they share in class.  This is a weekly ongoing format designed for students to meet each week and have time to practice their conversational English.  

All English levels are welcome in this class.  We will meet each student at their level.  We will accomplish this by talking about the things our students enjoy.  When students talk about themselves and things they enjoy, it helps them to grow and expand their vocabulary quickly.   We will work on several new vocabulary words each lesson. We will practice using them together in sentences and with each other.  This class will provide a safe space four our students to practice dynamic conversations in a small and supportive group.  We will never pressure our students.  This is an encouraging spot to use the skills you already have while taking the next step in your language learning journey.

Together our students will share their toys, hobbies, pets, and interests while we play in class together.   My classes are always learner led and student driven.  I want to hear from your child and help them feel at ease.  We want them to walk away from each lesson excited to learn more!  Students can feel free to bring toys to share and discuss.  We will be flexible as we learn together!
