Intermediate - Advanced Level
Would you like help practicing your conversational English skills? This private tutoring offers a safe space for English language learners to practice English speaking skills in a positive and encouraging way. Conversations are structured between the teacher and the student. Each week we will converse about a different topic to engage in real-world speaking skills. Focus may be on pronunciation or vocabulary as determined by the parent and/or teacher. There are times we may utilize demonstration, guided practice, and speaking games as we interact with the learning content and topics of focus. Each session is flexible and designed around personal student needs or desires. Topics of discussion may include: -community -money -health -foods -sports -clothes -making plans -celebrations -shopping -jobs -travel ...and more! I provide a positive atmosphere for learning and always strive to be welcoming and encouraging.
Learning Goals
Students will obtain help on an area of focus as identified by the parent or teacher.Students will practice their conversational speaking and listening skills.
Other Details
Pre-Requisites
Students should have an intermediate to advanced understanding of the English language. This includes being able to listen to questions, respond to questions, ask questions, and speak with basic sentence structure.
Supply List
Based on individual learning needs, students should be prepared to interact with the teacher for a 30 minute conversation in the Outschool classroom.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
