Is your child struggling with addition, subtraction, multiplication, and/or division when they are given whole number, decimal, or division computations or word problems? Have no fear, I am here to help! These 4 operations are crucial to math curriculum, no matter what age. Solidifying these skills with whole numbers will make learning decimals and fractions much easier! Prior to our 1:1 session, please let me know which area I can best support your child. Through my step-by-step processes/strategies, I am positive that your child build their knowledge and foundation of these skills, and walk away from our sessions feeling confident with their math abilities! During our session, I will follow the teaching model of: I do, we do, you do. First, I will model how to solve a problem. After, your child will solve the problem along side me. Lastly, I will provide a problem and your child will solve it independently (with scaffolded support if needed).
