In this course, students will be given guided practice problems to practice geometry skills and concepts typically taught in eighth grade. This should not be the student's first exposure to this mathematical operation. Students will be given immediate feedback, guided error correction, and reteaching as needed during the class. Learners can also bring homework or assignments from school or other classes that involve geometry to work on together. Concepts and skills can include any of the following: •Lines and Angles •Transversals of Parallel Lines •Classifying Polygons •Interior Angles in Triangles, Quadrilaterals, and Polygons •Exterior Angles of Polygons •Transformations •Similarity and Dilations •Pythagorean Theorem •Perimeter and Area of Polygons •Surface Area and Volume of 3D Figures Please schedule your sessions carefully, as missed sessions will not be rescheduled or refunded.

Hello! I have been teaching and working in the public school setting for the past nineteen years, and tutoring privately for the past ten years. I have worked with students ranging from kindergarten to eighth grade in math, reading, writing mechanics, American History, and beginning Spanish. I especially enjoy working with students in small groups or individually, and developed skills as an online educator when schools had to close for the pandemic. I have continued to work online with learners today, and truly enjoy it. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy watching television and movies, and traveling with my family.리뷰
