This sentence diagramming tutoring session will strengthen a  students ability to identify the 8 parts of speech, locate those parts in well-constructed sentences, and see the patterns inherent in  English. In other words, diagramming sentences helps students become better readers, writers, and critical thinkers!

My educational goal is to enable your student to become engaged in grammar with excitement. By tapping into your learner's learning enthusiasm, they are active and engaged in their learning process. I have taught over 4,000 Outschool students, and logged more than 800 Outschool teaching hours, in engaging, educational, and inspiring English Language courses. I am a certified Tennessee K-6th grade teacher. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in English, Communications, and Print Media. My personal goal is for your learner to have a positive, educational experience with Outschool. If you have a learner who is outside the range of the class, please contact me in order to make accommodations. Why take on the challenge of sentence diagramming? It allows students to clarify their thinking, fix their sentences, and put grammar to use in a different way. Putting all of the words of a sentence on a diagram enables learners to identify the logical connections between different parts of the sentence.  From my own personal teaching experience, learning diagram sentences have allowed an average grammar student to become a strong grammar student.
