1:1 초급-고급 작곡 레슨

This live online class is designed for beginner songwriters, advanced songwriters, and everyone in between with personalized attention to ensure your student is met wherever they are on their songwriting journey. 

We will analyze your student's favorite songs in order to unlock the techniques used by professional musicians and utilize them in your student’s work. Other sample topics include: 

- Identifying rhyme scheme
- Understanding lyrical and musical song structure
- Discussing lyrical theme
- Identifying chord progressions and key
- Recognizing relationships between certain chords / keys and the emotions they invoke

In addition to listening and analyzing other songs, students will also practice writing their own songs. This will include: 

- Writing lyrics
- Crafting melodies
- Creating musical accompaniment 
(If the student has no experience with a musical instrument, I may provide musical accompaniment on my guitar or creating tracks with musical software may be explored.)

All this will be done in a zero pressure environment with low stakes so students can better master the skills needed when they have a songwriting idea that's truly important to them. 

If they already have an idea that is important to them, we can work on that too! Students can bring in a song they have already written, or at least begun to write, to workshop it and improve or finish it. 

My teaching style is entirely student-driven. I respond to each student's needs with the best course of action for them personally. Each session is completely individualized. I will act as a guide on your student's path to creative fulfillment, providing the necessary tools to help them bring out their best work, while empowering them to continue their work independently.
