Do you have questions about acting? Do you need to know how to further your acting career? Are you new to the business and want to know how to get started? Do you want to get into acting but you are shy or nervous around other people and don’t think you can be an actor? Are you feeling overwhelmed by all the industry “NO’s” and just need an inspirational actor pick me up? 

Then this class is for you. This is not an acting class (although, we can focus on acting activities/exercises and scripts if you choose), but more of a class focusing on questions you have, the business of acting, expectations, fears, concerns, advice, needing a game plan for developing your career, etc.

This one on one class is designed to meet any students needs in the field of acting. The class will be tailored towards what you would like to focus on. The following are topics that can be addressed (not every area will be addressed in one class):      

-How to get into the film industry as an actor
-The basics of acting and what it entails
-How to memorize lines
-What to expect in a group acting class
-What to expect on a film/TV set 
-Expectations after you book a job
-Basic film/audition vocabulary
-How the acting business works
-Terminology on a film/TV set
-People you need to know on a film/TV set
-How to get a talent agent
-How to format your resume
-How to do a self-tape audition
-How to slate
-Any questions about the film industry

Because this class is catered to the individual needs of each student, when you sign up please let me know what area(s) you want to focus on for class and we will dive in!

Acting is such an amazing field because it doesn’t depend on your age, gender, ethnicity or level of experience. I strongly believe that ANYONE can be an actor because acting is about connecting to something, reacting, expressing yourself and using your imagination. These are things every human being possesses.
