This class is part of a series of classes meant to provide opportunities for learners to review and practice math concepts involving fractions and mixed numbers typically taught in 5th and 6th grade math. Below is a list of concepts that could be covered during this class as time and rate of learning allow. Hello! I have been teaching and working in the public school setting for the past nineteen years, and tutoring privately for the past ten years. I have worked with students ranging from kindergarten to eighth grade in math, reading, writing mechanics, American History, and beginning Spanish. I especially enjoy working with students in small groups or individually, and developed skills as an online educator when schools had to close for the pandemic.
