As the teacher, with parents and students we can have a meeting to best curate tutoring sessions for your student. I have a lot of experience with grades K-8, so most topics I am able to tutor with. I will curate lessons that will help your student grow, as well as helping students with any homework that needs to be done. During tutoring we will use worksheets, google applications, videos, and have discussions. My teaching style is targeted to students needs first. Typically, I like to welcome students to class, have a quick check-in and then get started with material. I enjoy to make connections before starting work. We will do a short lesson on whatever it is we may be learning, and then move into practice. I believe practicing is essential to learning.  There are many themes and topics we can go over during tutoring. Examples of what I have tutored before are: multiplication fluency, adding and subtracting strategies, work on reading strategies and fluency, as well as social and emotional strategies for students to use.
