수업 소개
With the challenges that students have faced with distance learning and the reality of transitioning back into the physical classroom, the need for time management, organizational management and study skills, are becoming more important than ever. Whether your child is homeschooled, participates in a distance learning program, or in a physical traditional classroom setting, I provide 1-on-1 tutoring tailored to your child’s situation and needs. I will help build confidence and develop a strong love of learning by reenforcing life skills and creating a mindset for success as your child grows and matures with learning how to cope and manage time, organization and study skills. I also can be a "study buddy" to help prepare for a specific quiz, test, mid-term or final exam. Once you register for a session, please send me a message with areas you’d like me to cover.

I am passionate about teaching!!!
Teaching / Education background:
In homeschooling my own children, teaching time management and organizational skills is a must from an early age. Additionally, as an online instructor for University, I am constantly reinforcing time management and organizational skills in order to be successful in an online environment. I have also designed and taught self-directed learning classes which focus on having students get to know themselves as learners and finding a skill set that works for them.
I have twenty plus years of successful experience in teaching, curriculum development, and support of new teachers in various communities and at various grade levels. These communities include both the military and civilian sectors. Grade levels include elementary, secondary, and graduate. Currently, I am an adjunct faculty member, teaching courses for teacher preparation as well as Masters courses at National University. I also have been homeschooling my own children for the past 15 years.
I have a Master of Education with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the same University. I additionally hold a Professional Clear Multiple Subject Teaching Credential (CLAD) from National University with a Supplementary Authorization in Art.
