This is a private art class which is appropriate for students who have a serious interest in improving their drawing skills and ability to draw realistically. Subject matter can range from drawing hands, portraiture, landscapes, still life objects, and other subjects based on the student's personal interests and skill level. We will cover a variety of topics including proportion, shading, drawing from observation, color theory and more, again depending on the abilities and interests of the students.

Students will practice and improve upon their realistic drawing and rendering skills through a variety of exercises and studies, while receiving suggestions for improvement. We will work on foundational concepts of realistic drawing from observation using principles such as shading, proportion and depth.
