Research into best tutoring practices suggest that students can make significant improvements when paired with a knowledgable tutor that meets with them regularly, develops a professional and engaging rapport with the student, sets clear goals for the tutoring session, and focuses on one to two topics per tutoring session that progress from heavily tutor assisted to mostly independent.

I would love to be that tutor for you! I have 6 years of experience teaching full time in Illinois, plus many years of additional experience hosting high impact tutoring sessions online (both for the state of Illinois and in private practice).  I have taught or tutored all junior high math levels, Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Precalculus, Calculus, and Statistics. Whether it be 6th grade math ratio tables, geometry proofs, solving equations, or calculating limits, we'll use our tutoring time to grow the student from where they are at to a new level of understanding using guided practice, discussion, and additional examples.
