1:1 ESL 튜터링

In this ongoing class, students will develop their English language skills. Each ESL tutoring session will be personalized to the needs of the individual learner. No previous experience is necessary. 

I use TPR, props, and classroom slides to teach English through immersion. ESL classes could include practice in these areas: conversation/speaking, vocabulary, reading, and grammar. I can assign short journal topics as homework for students that want to practice their writing skills. 

Some class topics include: Introducing yourself/greetings, letters, numbers, colors, shapes, hobbies, food, sports, animals, and more! 

Please message me after you sign up for this class to tell me about your student’s English ability, needs, and abilities. During the first lesson, I will get to know your student and further assess their ability. I will also learn more about the learner's interests. Future lessons will be designed based on the needs and interests of the learner. I am currently using Abridge Academy for my ESL curriculum. 

I have worked with a wide range of learners from very young through the teenage years. I have taught preschool ESL classes online through Level 7 (advanced). I am also willing to work with students that plan to take a TOEFL or other English exam. My goal is that learners will enjoy learning English in a fun, safe, and encouraging environment.

Policy for 1:1 Classes
-If a student does not come to class, there is no class recording. Because this is a personalized 1:1 teaching/coaching session, I am unable to teach to an empty classroom. 
-I realize that occasionally students need to miss a week for a holiday or scheduled event. If you notify me before Saturday, I can delete a class from the schedule. You will not be charged.
