-Tutoring will meet twice weekly. Students will be assessed to determine phonics skills the student needs to be taught and his/her reading level. If a learner is missing foundational reading skills, tutoring sessions will address these gaps. Tutoring will be tailored to your student's needs. -Areas of reading to be addressed include phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. -Each session will include review of the concept taught in the previous session, mini lesson of the new concept being taught, and independent practice. -Students will be provided visuals and hands-on practice with reading.
