I am an experienced educator and researcher specializing in biology, forensic anthropology, osteoarchaeology, and archaeology. Currently, I teach biology lab sections (1506, 1507, and 2706) at Algoma University, where I guide students through hands-on laboratory work, proper scientific writing, and critical analysis. In the past, I have also taught human remains analysis (pathology and trauma) and forensic facial reconstruction, combining practical application with theoretical knowledge.

With a diverse professional background spanning academia, museums, and field research, I have worked in museum curation, scientific outreach, and international archaeological projects. My experience includes roles such as Curator and Exhibit Manager at the Diefenbaker Canada Centre, program development for the Royal Ontario Museum, and ground-penetrating radar analysis for archaeological site searches. I have also led STEM-based educational programs and outreach initiatives, making science and history accessible to learners of all ages.

My teaching philosophy is rooted in experiential learning, interdisciplinary connections, and fostering critical thinking. I believe in engaging students through hands-on experience, encouraging them to ask questions, analyze evidence, and apply their knowledge in meaningful ways. Whether in the lab or the classroom, my goal is to create an inclusive, inquiry-driven learning environment where students develop both technical skills and a deeper appreciation for the sciences.
