DISCLAIMER: THIS IS NOT A CLASS AND DOES NOT HAVE ANY SCHEDULED MEETINGS. THERE IS NO SERVER TO JOIN OR WEEKLY SESSIONS, THOSE ARE CLASSES AND *NOT* GROUPS. In this group, we will be building and showing off our creations while also talking about all things Minecraft! Minecraft always has new updates and new map packs are always coming out, adding new and exciting things to discuss each week. When there are no updates or new things to discuss, we will have challenges such as "try to find diamonds, build a house to survive the night, build a nether portal" etc. We will also be discussing topics such as the updates that come to Minecraft as well. Such as new mob votes, biomes, structures, etc. We will also be displaying builds and contraptions that we have created so that way others can comment on them. Whether you play Java edition or Bedrock edition, this will be the way to get excited with others about all things Minecraft! As a moderator, I will make sure that this is a safe and fun group, keeping topics and language appropriate. I will be communicating with learners on a daily basis, no less than once a week to ask exciting challenges and thought-provoking questions!

Hi there, I'm Teacher Michael and I'm happy to see you on my profile page! I love teaching students of all ages about social skills that involve gaming and anime.
Since 2012, I have volunteered and am currently participating with the Special Olympics working with ages 8 and older. In 2016, I completed a social skills training program run by the University of Central Florida. Through my local school, I tutored students ages 6-12 in math, reading, science, social studies, and writing skills in 2018. I currently belong to several social clubs in my area where I work with youth ages 14-18.
My passion is creating an environment where students can openly discuss their favorite topics without the barriers of a traditional school setting. When children play together they build confidence, stay active through movement, practice motor skills and develop learning skills. With my years of experience working with youth, I will be able to mentor and teach students while playing games and practicing life skills.
I am Autistic and have ADHD. I feel I can relate to students with and without disabilities because most learners are looking for a way to express themselves in a safe environment without fear of negativity. Outschool is the perfect platform for those that need a little help or that want a class that lets you be you! I want to show my learners that education can be fun and engaging without being overwhelming.
