In this asynchronous Art group learners will be able to connect with one another. This group will be a collaborative community of young artists. This group will help young learners explore different types of art. An asynchronous Art group means there are no live meetings. I have a K-12 Multiple Subject teaching credential. I also have a teaching credential in Art. I have a Masters of Education. I also have a Pupil Personnel Services credential and a Masters of Science in Educational Counseling. I have been teaching art to young learners for over twenty years! I have taught an ongoing Art Club on Outschool for three years. I have also led a school-based Art club. In addition I have experience in a content moderation capacity with leading an educational group.
*I will be embedding Youtube tutorial videos throughout the group (all my own videos created specifically for this group.) Outschool embeds the link on its platform so that learners remain on the Outschool platform and don’t access the YouTube website. *Acrylic paint does not come off of clothes so you may want to provide a smock or oversized t-shirt for your learner.
