NOTE: This is a flex class. There are NO live meetings for this class. The material will be posted weekly and participation will be done through Outschool & YouTube. You can view the material during the week at your own convenience. Also, we will not be covering how to setup a YouTube account. I will assume that everyone already has an account.

OVERVIEW:
This is a 4 week Flex course where students will be guided via detailed video lessons that I have pre-recorded. Students will have to participate in class by posting projects and thoughts on different activities we do by providing images or video clips which we can analyze and critique together as a group.

WEEKLY LESSON PLAN:
Week #1 - YouTube Banner & Profile Picture
Summary: This week students will learn how to create a YouTube banner and profile picture as well as some tips on best practices.

Week #2 - iMovie & DaVinci Resolve
Summary: This week students will learn the basics of using iMovie and DaVinci Resolves (both are free, you just need one). 

Week #3 - YouTube Branding & Thumbnails
This week students will learn about branding and how they can incorporate it into their YouTube channels and how to create thumbnails for their videos.

Week #4 - YouTube Settings/Safety & Uploads
Summary: This week students will learn some useful settings they can set on YouTube to save time and to stay safe, as well as how to upload their videos and the features available.
